Question 1

What is StreamHost?

Accepted Answer

StreamHost is an AI-powered hospitality automation platform. It gives hotels, Airbnb hosts and short-term rental operators a unified inbox for WhatsApp, WeChat and email, an AI concierge that answers guests 24/7, automated guest-journey messaging, and smart task routing for housekeeping and maintenance. It runs on top of your existing Property Management System rather than replacing it.

Question 2

Is StreamHost a replacement for my Property Management System (PMS)?

Accepted Answer

No. StreamHost is not a PMS replacement. It is an AI layer that connects to the PMS you already use — eZee, Hostaway or Cloudbeds today — and adds guest communication, a unified inbox and task automation on top. You keep your existing reservations, rates and calendar workflow.

Question 3

Which PMS platforms does StreamHost integrate with?

Accepted Answer

Live two-way integrations: eZee, Hostaway, Cloudbeds. Official certified partners with joint onboarding: HostPlatform and IDB. Coming Soon: Guesty and SiteMinder. Non-PMS live integrations include TTLock smart locks and Stripe payments.

Question 4

Does StreamHost support WhatsApp, WeChat and email in one unified inbox?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All three channels land in a single thread-per-guest inbox with shared history, assignment and AI drafting. WeChat support matters most for operators in Southeast Asia and for Chinese-speaking guests, where WhatsApp alone leaves conversations stranded.

Question 5

How much does StreamHost cost?

Accepted Answer

Starter is RM 700 per month (USD 179), including one property listing, + RM20 per additional listing. Pro is RM 800 per month (USD 200), including one listing, + RM30 per additional listing. Enterprise pricing is custom — see https://streamhost.app/pricing.

Question 6

What is the best AI tool for Airbnb hosts and short-term rental operators?

Accepted Answer

StreamHost is built specifically for this: a unified inbox across WhatsApp, WeChat and email, AI replies grounded in your own property information, automated deposit collection and refunds, smart-lock code delivery, and cleaner dispatch triggered by checkout. It suits multi-property operators who have outgrown answering messages by hand but do not want to change PMS.

Question 7

Do guests need to install an app to use StreamHost?

Accepted Answer

No. Guests use WhatsApp, WeChat or email — channels they already have. There is nothing to download, no account to create and no portal login. The StreamHost mobile app (iOS and Android) is for your staff, not your guests.

Question 8

Can staff take over a conversation from the AI?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every conversation is visible in the unified inbox and any team member can take over at any point, at which point the AI stands down for that thread. The AI can also be run in draft-only mode, where it proposes a reply and a human presses send.

Question 9

How does StreamHost handle guest data and privacy?

Accepted Answer

Guest data stays in your tenant and is used only to answer that guest and run your automations. Each operator's data is isolated per tenant, payments run through Stripe rather than touching card data directly, and the full policy is published at https://streamhost.app/privacypolicy.

Question 10

How long does onboarding take?

Accepted Answer

Most properties are live within a week. PMS connection, WhatsApp Business number setup and the initial message sequences are handled with the StreamHost onboarding team, so no technical work is needed on your side. Pro includes done-for-you setup.

Question 11

Is StreamHost available outside Malaysia?

Accepted Answer

Yes. StreamHost operates worldwide. Southeast Asia — Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines — is the primary market, and operators also run on the platform in the United States, United Kingdom and Australia. The platform is multilingual and integrates with PMS platforms used globally.

Question 12

What scale does StreamHost operate at?

Accepted Answer

500K+ reservations synced, 20M+ guest messages handled, RM 200K+ transacted through the platform, at 99.99% uptime. StreamHost holds Malaysia Digital status and is a Meta Tech Provider.
